With the opening of The Stoller Hall comes the opportunity to name your very own seat. Named seats are a wonderful way to mark your support for Chetham’s and can be for yourself, for a loved one, or to mark the celebration of a special occasion. With a personalised brass plaque, fixed to the back of a seat, a named seat can be enjoyed by you and your family for years to come. We are delighted that so many of you have taken up this opportunity so far and it has been lovely to hear why each of you have chosen to name a seat.
We are pleased that one of our seat namers is Director of Music, Stephen Threlfall. Stephen has been a driving force behind the vision of The Stoller Hall and it is fitting that he will have a lasting presence. He said:
“This superb Hall represents an important milestone in the progressive history of Chetham’s: it is not only our first ever concert hall but, also, an outstanding gift to the cultural life of the region.”
Money raised from our seat naming opportunities support the capital projects that are transforming Chetham’s, such as The Stoller Hall, and so all support we receive really is appreciated. As a thank you to our seat namers, we will also hold a special preview event before the Hall officially opens in April 2017 so that you will be among the very first to see your named seat.
