As a live music venue in the heart of Manchester, we play a crucial role in supporting musicians and performers. Over the last few months we’ve been working closely with our performers, musicians and partners to find ways to keep the music alive whilst our doors have been shut.
We’re launching a new online platform, Stoller Broadcasts – a series of online concerts, performances, podcasts and more.
This online content will give musicians and performers the chance to share new music, to engage with audiences and to begin performing again. It’s also a platform for us as a live music venue to share what we’re passionate about, showcasing beautiful music!
Roderick Williams and Christopher Glynn – Parts I, II, III, IV and V.
You can now enjoy the first ever Stoller Broadcast, with Baritone Roderick Williams and Pianist Christopher Glynn. The performance was recorded at The Stoller Hall in March 2020 as part of the Manchester Song Festival. Featuring introductions from Artistic Director Marcus Farnsworth, music from Schubert to Gurney, this series of Stoller Broadcasts explore themes of travel from around the world.
Part V –
The last in our series of our Broadcasts from the Manchester Song Festival, Mahler. Inspired by one of the his favourite collections of poetry, Mahler takes us through a range of emotions, from sadness to joy.
