  • Music, singing and celebration reflecting on the choir's relationship with Manchester

Join Manchester’s male voice choir The Sunday Boys for their much-anticipated summer gig for an evening of music, singing and celebration as they reflect on their relationship with Manchester and the journey their beloved city has taken them on.

Featuring lyrics from Manchester-based poet Andrew McMillan and set to music by The Sunday Boys’ Musical Director Michael Betteridge, this special gig will feature three original compositions based on The Sunday Boys’ real-life experiences of Manchester, the city they call home.

The evening will feature a varied and exciting programme of original composition and arrangements such as; Leather by Tori Amos, Smalltown Boy by Bronski Beat, I Carry Your Heart with Me by David Dickau and I’m Coming Out by Diana Ross, among many others.

Written around the themes of arrival, exploration, settling down and aging, The Sunday Boys will take you on a musical journey through this unique city.

Concessions: audiences aged 65+, students and under 19s

The Sunday Boys are supported by PRS Foundation’s The Open Fund.
