See it Safely

We are signed up to the Manchester City Council Women’s Night-time safety charter and we are committed to ensuring that The Stoller Hall is a welcoming and respectful space for all.

We do not tolerate abuse, threats or other poor behaviour towards our staff or to audience members. If you have any concerns about someone’s behaviour, or feel uncomfortable at any point, please let our staff know right away.

Our event staff are present in the atrium, at box office, at the bar (when open) and at the back of the auditorium during events. They carry radios and can be in communication with each other and our duty managers at all times, in case you want let our team know about an issue at any time during an event.

We have trained security staff on at all of our public events, including our free lunchtime concerts. Bag searches will be in operation. You can find our more about our bag searches, including prohibited items, here.

For concerts and shows where drinks can be taken into the auditorium, we use plastic cups only. Alcohol is served from our bar at most evening events (but not during family specific events such as Stoller Story Sounds, where only non-alcoholic and soft drinks will be served.) We reserve the right to ask for ID and to refuse to serve audience members if we feel it is necessary.

Our top priority is to create a safe space for you to enjoy live music. We recommend booking tickets in advance and using the hand sanitisers available throughout the venue regularly.

Face coverings are no longer compulsory but will be available at the box office should you choose to wear one, so that everyone feels safe and welcome during their visit.

If you need any further information, please check our frequently asked questions below.

IF I CANNOT ATTEND WILL MY TICKETS BE REFUNDED?

We recommend you purchase secure my booking ticket-protection as part of your ticket purchase, which allows you to re-coup 100% of the ticket price if you’re unable to attend due to Covid-19 or any other illnesses.

If you do not have ticket protection and you are unable to attend an event at The Stoller Hall please let us know as soon as possible. If we are able to resell your ticket(s) we may be able to offer you a refund or exchange.

In the unlikely event of us needing to cancel or reschedule a performance you will be offered the choice of a full refund or exchange.

WILL THERE BE UNRESERVED SEATING?

There will be a mix of allocated and unallocated seating and this will depend on the event. Allocated seats are chosen in advance during the booking process and for unallocated seating, you will be shown to your seat by one of our stewards. All seats in the Hall offer excellent acoustics and a good view of the stage. If you have any access requirements, we can reserve seating at unallocated events.

WILL I NEED TO PRE-BOOK?

We advise you to book tickets in advance online or over the phone. The Box office is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday lunchtimes, and one hour before events, but we cannot guarantee ticket availability on the night.

WILL THE BAR BE OPEN?

Our Atrium Bar  will serve drinks and bar snacks to enjoy before our evening performances and during intervals. We encourage people to use contactless payments if possible.

WILL YOU HAVE ADDITIONAL CLEANING MEASURES IN PLACE?

Enhanced cleaning and safety measures are in place throughout the venue, including:

  • Providing hand sanitising stations throughout the venue and access to hand-washing facilities.
  • Regular cleaning of toilets and all contact points.
  • Thorough cleaning of the hall between events.
  • The Stoller Hall is equipped with a modern, filtered air handling system, that changes the air in the Hall around four times per hour.  In line with current guidance, no air is being recirculated.

Thank you!
From us all at The Stoller Hall
