‘The effect of this multi-layered, multimedia approach was nothing less than scintillating’ – Audience review

Director: Anna Morrissey
Devised by, Music Director and Electric Viola: Nic Pendlebury

Join us for a mesmerising evening of live music with Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance.

In the open space of the Oglesby Atrium performers and audience members are free to flow together, uniting in a thought-provoking evening of music, motion, nature and the environment.

As the audience, you will be able to move through the orchestra, wearing headphones that enable you to hear the score on three levels. Hear Vivaldi’s masterpiece The Four Seasons  alongside a live string ensemble performing Hollie Harding’s immersive Melting, Shifting, Liquid World.

From the bird song of Spring to the cracking of ice in Winter, Vivaldi captures the extraordinary sounds of the changing seasons in his iconic work, The Four Seasons. In this new interpretation, which combines music, sound and movement, the score is brought to life; the Seasons as they should be.

Hollie Harding’s Melting, Shifting, Liquid World  looks at the fragility of our modern world. Where melting ice caps and the pollution of the sea threaten our very existence; the Seasons as they may become.

Bone conduction headphones kindly supplied by Shokz.
