Part of our Sounds of Nature programme

The Inner Vision Orchestra Quintet will present a special performance celebrating nature and music from different cultures.

The incredible blind orchestra led by Baluji Shrivastav OBE includes musicians from around the world, all from a range of different backgrounds and heritage.

Members of the orchestra burst onto the world stage at the Paralympics in 2012 to perform at the closing ceremony, and have since performed live around the UK. For their live performance at The Stoller Hall they will perform music from their extensive repertoire which includes opera, folk and jazz.

With his classical Indian training, Baluji’s music and performances often have climate and nature themes running through them and there are many ragas associated with the natural environment. He has recently released an album for example called the Six Seasons of India which will be arranged especially for the orchestra for their Stoller Hall performance.
