The Dave Bristow Quintet is a multinational supergroup of musicians based in Paris for which the English pianist Dave Bristow is the principal composer.  They perform high octane, cutting edge improvisational music that is both colourful and uniquely original. They are a veritable tour de force and are not to be missed!

Their debut album ‘Unknown Unknown’ has a great deal to offer to the curious listener – plenty of swing, latin numbers, sumptuous ballads, an up tempo number in D major, a contemporary take on rhythm changes via Messiaen’s modes of limited transposition, as well as deeply lyrical opening and ending themes to tie the album together.
