Luke is a Singer-Songwriter from Canterbury, Kent, who at the start of his career was nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards for both the Horizon Award for Best Emerging Talent and The Young Folk Category in 2013. He was also winner of Fatea’s “Male Artist of the Year” 2014 and 2016. His live album ‘Solo:Duo:Trio’ was voted 2018 Album of the Year by Laurel Canyon and in 2020 his album ‘Journals’ was voted 2019 Album of the Year by Fatea Magazine.

Over the past few years Luke has steadily developed a reputation for himself through his solo, duo or trio shows, many festival appearances or when opening for such luminaries as Fairport Convention, Show of Hands, Steve Knightley, Martyn Joseph, Seth Lakeman, Karine Polwart, Oysterband, Paul Brady, Glen Tilbrook, Sarah Jarosz and John Paul White, formerly of the legendary Civil Wars. In addition to the UK, Luke has toured across Europe, Canada and the USA.  Luke has also toured alongside Grammy Award winning songwriter Amy Wadge (co writer of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’) numerous times, the last being in 2019!

Between his debut album ‘More Than Boys’ produced by the acclaimed Welsh Singer-Songwriter Martyn Joseph, which was released in 2012 through to his latest release, 5 records including a live album were released and each album received high praise, all receiving multiple 5* reviews. His latest album ‘Journals’ was made ‘Album of the Year’ by Fatea Magazine with R2 Magazine saying ‘Journals’ is an excellent album from a very special singer with a great repertoire, fully confirming his star potential beyond the folk scene’.

After going back to both Europe and the USA in early 2020 for another two successful tours, like many, many others, Luke’s career was ‘put on hold’ by the end of March with the advent of Covid 19. Luke kept himself busy and engaged with the musical community with a series of themed live stream shows and after a bit of a creative writing surge, released a 7 track EP in early 2021 of songs written during lockdown called ‘Of The Time’ which garnered more great reviews.

Luke is now back on the road performing up and down the country impressing audiences with his show stopping vocals, emotive storytelling and captivating stage presence!
