From Benjamin Britten’s beautiful setting of Five Flower Songs to Anohni’s call to arms, the programme takes listeners on a journey that both celebrates nature’s abundance and warns of future scarcity.
Relax into the serenity of Hildegard of Bingen’s writing, delight in the sound world of Palestrina and discover brand new music by exciting young artists. The concert features world premieres from the shortlisted composers of Echo’s inaugural Composition Competition.
