Echoes of the North with Brighouse & Rastrick Band.

Take a trip back in time through music and film.

Made from more than a hundred fragments of archive film, Echoes of the North is a new silent film with a live brass band score. Travel down the highways and byways of northern life a century ago – its industries and rural life, its wartimes and festivals, its holidays, family excursions and huge, city-wide occasions – accompanied by Neil Brand’s new music, performed live by the world-famous Brighouse & Rastrick Band.

Ahead of Echoes of the North audiences will be treated to a concert of brass band favourites.

‘ a stirring collage of silent film footage of northern England, bolstered with a charismatic brass-band score composed by Neil Brand’ – Silent London

“One of the most spine-tingling and moving things I have ever heard” – Audience Quote

“What a night – nostalgia, super music, superb playing, standing ovation!”  – Audience Quote
