About Grace O’Malley

“A Lancashire lass with a voice ‘big, bold and beautiful enough to bring the operatic world to its knees’.” – Lancashire Life
Grace O’Malley is a British Soprano from Lancashire. She was a chorister at Manchester Cathedral and studied at Chetham’s School of Music and the Junior Royal Northern College of Music before continuing her training at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

She is currently a Stoller Hall Emerging Artist and has performed at venues including Wigmore Hall and The Royal Festival Hall. Her operatic work includes appearances with The Grange Festival where she covered and sang the role of Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus. Future engagements include Princessa Polowska in Fromental Halévy’s rarely performed La Dame de Pique with Gothic Opera at Battersea Arts Centre.

Grace regularly performs operetta and musical theatre. She performs principal roles at The Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Buxton and as a guest artist with Theatrical Adventures, performing abroad European river cruises and at gala events throughout Europe.
Critics have praised Grace’s “sweet tone and impressive storytelling”, whilst noting her “bronze coloured voice” with an “easy top” capable of “Sutherlandesque roulades, trills and fireworks”. Grace is a versatile performer whose repertoire spans opera, operetta and musical theatre. She is recognised for performances that combine vocal brilliance with warmth, charm and genuine emotional connection.
