Our ‘Inside the Library’ sessions give visitors the opportunity to take an inside look at the workings of Chetham’s Library.
This session will be led by Siân-Louise, our Visitor Services Coordinator, and will be sharing her work for our current display theme: the Lives and Legacies of Chetham’s Librarians. Siân-Louise will be sharing stories of our Librarians, their achievements and their time at Chetham’s Library, and visitors will have the chance to take a closer look at the records, portraits and items from Chetham’s Library’s collections that shed light on the lives and legacies of the librarians, from 1653 to the present day!
