Letters in the library

Join us on our family fun day at Chetham’s Library! Inspired by the alphabet and children’s lessons in medieval England, we’ll be looking at the weird and wonderful illustrated lettering from the library’s collection, and trying to create our own!

Take part in one of our craft activities in the Baronial Hall! Learn how to write like a scribe! Or join our family scavenger hunt up in the library!

14:00 – 1600

£5 per family (pre-booking only)

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum x4 children per adult
