This event is part of Manchester Medieval Festival 2023.

Head to Sadler’s Yard, NOMA, for a free, drop-in workshop in celebration of the Manchester Medieval Quarter Festival and the fascinating history of the humble legume.

Learn how to grow and care for the rare and mysterious ‘Martock’ Bean (a heritage cultivar of broad bean dating back to the medieval period!) and get your hands on some medieval gardening tools that have stood the test of time.

All ages (and fancy dress) welcome.
