In 2021 Trio Bohemo won the prestigious Parkhouse Award, an award which champions young ensembles of piano with strings. As part of their prize the Trio will perform three UK concerts including performances at The Stoller Hall in Manchester and Wigmore Hall in London. Comprised of violinist Matouš Pěruška, cellist Kristina Vocetková and pianist Jan Vojtek, the ensemble performed trios by Dvořák, Haydn and Liszt in the Parkhouse Award’s 30th anniversary celebration concert at St John’s Smith Square in February 2022.
After few months following their establishment, they have been awarded 2nd prize at the prestigious Gianni Bergamo Award in Lugano (Switzerland). Following this success, the trio has been selected to join the Le Dimore del Quartetto network. In summer 2021, they were awarded special prizes for the Best Interpretation of the Work of Viennese Classicism, Czech Contemporary Chamber Music and Work by Bohuslav Martinů at ISA Festival in Austria. Only few days later, they won the first edition of the International Filippo Nicosia Award in Italy.
