Between Thursday 8 – Saturday 17 August, Chetham’s International Piano Summer School brings world class and legendary musicians to a vibrant, supportive community in central Manchester. Alongside lectures, open lessons and opportunities to develop new skills, you can discover a daily programme of recitals from world-class performers.
On day one, book for a two-piano duet concert at 5pm, and a 7.30pm performance from Piers Lane followed by an included late evening of jazz from the Nikki Iles Trio. Full details below.

Following Piers Lane’s performance in the Stoller Hall, join us in the atrium for a jazz session with the Nikki Iles Trio featuring Steve Berry on Bass and Caroline Boaden on drums . They will play music from the Great American song book alongside original compositions by jazz pianists such as Bill Evans , Chick Corea, James Williams , John Taylor, Renee Rosens and Herbie Hancock.
