Get your dancing shoes on! Learn and enjoy traditional medieval dances from across Europe led by Gaita Medieval Music, including chance to learn more about medieval music and medieval instruments. These 45-minute workshops are suitable for the whole family, so come one, come all, and make merry!

ABOUT GAITA MEDIEVAL MUSIC

The medieval music ensemble Gaita is dedicated to performing medieval music from the courts of Europe from the 1200-1500 (from France, Italy, Spain, and Scotland) in an historically informed style. A particular focus is on reconstructing the music and dances from the medieval period. The group is based in Edinburgh.
