We’re very excited to announce one of the world’s greatest classical singers Russell Watson will perform at The Stoller Hall for Passport: Back to Our Roots, the new campaign to raise money for independent grassroots music venues.

This is your chance to watch the biggest artists play their smallest gigs – live and in person like they should be – while making a huge difference to the UK’s crisis-stricken grassroots music venues, who need urgent help due to COVID-19.

These very special one-off intimate gigs will take place on dates to be confirmed, when it’s safe to perform with no social distancing. By entering the prize draw you’re helping raise money for the independent venues who need the money right now.

Entry to these shows is via prize draw. The Crowdfunder campaign opens until Monday 26 October. For a £5 minimum donation to the campaign, you’ll be entered into the draw to win entry to the show of your choice for yourself and a friend. So set your alarms!

Passport: Back to Our Roots is produced by registered charity and independent grassroots venue Band on the Wall, the Music Venue Trust and Stephen Budd Music (creator of War Child’s Passport: Back to the Bars & Passport: To BRITs Week series).

Russell Watson is one of the world’s greatest classical singers. Since being described by the New York Times as a performer “who sings like Pavarotti and entertains the audience like Sinatra” he subsequently released ten studio albums including his debut album ‘The Voice’ which held the number one spot in the UK for 52 weeks.
