This event is part of Manchester Medieval Festival 2023.

Join the team from Ordsall Hall in this workshop exploring foods and recipes from the 16th and 17th centuries that helped with sleep. The session gives a taste of what has been happening so far in the two-year project Sleeping Well at Ordsall Hall. The project aims to investigate the connections between sleep, environments, and health in the past and today. In the workshop we will be preserving fruit from the Ordsall Hall gardens.

Age recommendation: 8+ due to use of cooking equipment during the event.
