Britain’s Got Talent alumni and finalist Tom Ball has announced three UK shows for later this year, across October and November. Dubbed ‘Curtain Call’, in line with his debut studio album, out earlier this month on Westway Music, Tom’s Autumn shows will see him head to Southend Palace Theatre, Manchester Stoller Hall and London Leicester Square Theatre.
The announcement comes after Tom, who also received the coveted Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent, embarked on a 14 date debut solo tour across the UK earlier this year. Having given up his day job as a drama and music teacher, Tom is now carrying out his childhood dream of being a singer. His first TV experience on BGT saw him described as‘the best singer Britain’s Got Talent has seen in 16 years’ by Amanda Holden. Tom’s charisma, infectious energy and talent was clear, and seeps through in every performance of Tom’s to this day.
“I’m at home on the stage, it’s a moment where unlike anything else I do in my life, everything is focused there.”

This prodigious scope has led to comparisons to the likes of Michael Bublé and Michael Ball; both multi-faceted entertainers with the unique ability to do it all. A mix of both original work and covers, ‘Curtain Call’, recorded at Umbrella Studios in London, features collaborations with Grammy and Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriters and producers such as Eliot Kennedy and Gary Barlow, as well as a stunning duet with West End star Lucie Jones on the track ‘Goodbye’. The album will also feature ‘Writing’s On The Wall’, the song which originally earned Tom the Golden Buzzer on BGT.
