Our mission is to create radical human experiences through live music for everyone
We founded Manchester Collective in 2016 because nobody was programming the kind of work that we wanted to perform.
Along the way, we discovered a passion for connecting with new audiences. We also found that we had an unusual knack for this kind of work. Many of our guests experience their first taste of classical music at a Manchester Collective gig.
We have had so many people tell us that this project is impossible. It’s too hard to start a new arts organisation, let alone a movement. Classical music just isn’t relevant anymore. Young people don’t care about culture.
Bring it on. And welcome the new season.
