at The Bridgewater Hall

Join Chetham’s staff Stephen Threlfall and Stuart Overington, as well as the Gorton Philharmonic and current Chetham’s students, as we mark the 200th Anniversary of the Peterloo Massacre in collaboration with The Bridgewater Hall. Together, participants and existing orchestra members will play through Sir Malcolm Arnold’s Peterloo Overture (choral version) in the inspirational setting of The Bridgewater Hall’s auditorium, pausing at the halfway stage for tea and scones with jam and clotted cream!

For this event participants must be 16 years of age or older. We recommend that instrumentalists have a playing ability of grade 6 and over. Singers should be able to read music.
