Celebrate 50 Years of The Last Waltz with Spectacular Live Tribute Concert at Stoller Hall

WLDFLWRS band on stage.

One of the most revered nights in music history will be brought back to life at Stoller Hall on 21 November 2026 as acclaimed band WLDFLWRS joins forces with a host of special guests to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Last Waltz, the legendary farewell concert by The Band.

On 25 November 1976, The Band took to the stage at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom for what would become their final performance with the original line-up. Joined by an extraordinary cast of musical collaborators including Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan, the concert was immortalised on film by renowned director Martin Scorsese.

Now, five decades later, audiences in Manchester will have the opportunity to experience the music, atmosphere and enduring legacy of that landmark event in a live celebration at Stoller Hall, opposite Manchester Victoria Station.

Led by WLDFLWRS and featuring a specially curated line-up of guest performers, the evening will revisit the timeless songs and unforgettable moments that made The Last Waltz a defining chapter in rock music history.

WLDFLWERS has received rave reviews for their performances, with the legendary PP Arnold noting that WLDFLWERS are “such an awesome band that really play from the heart.”

Jono Wright, WLDFLWERS, said:
“This anniversary concert promises an immersive journey through one of rock music’s most iconic nights. Audiences can expect a heartfelt tribute to the artistry, storytelling and musical camaraderie that characterised the original performance.”

Phil Boughton, General Manager of Stoller Hall, said:
“We’re thrilled to be working with Jono and WLDFLWERS to host this special event as our motivations align perfectly. The audience will both experience exceptional musicianship and celebrate a truly landmark cultural moment – bringing the film The Last Waltz by Scorsese to life live on stage at Stoller Hall.
“Since its release, the film has become widely regarded as one of the greatest concert films ever made and I cannot wait to see and hear this in November.”

Special guests will include Ian McNabb, Nigel Clark, Robert Vincent, Chris Kearney, and Chloe Jones.
