‘Sensitivity, integrity and a seriousness of purpose that promises much for the future’ – Murray McLachlan
Born and raised in Bethlehem, Palestine, Marc was a student of the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music (ESNCM) and was awarded a scholarship at Chetham’s School of Music in 2019 to further his development as a wonderful pianist.
The concert provides a unique opportunity to hear one of the rising stars from Bethlehem perform in the intimate Carole Nash Hall. Marc’s celebratory evening covers music from Bach, Rachmaninov, Beethoven, Chopin and Ginastera.
Marc Kawwas and the concert are supported by PalMusic UK. PalMusic UK is the Friends of ESNCM and raises funds to support the music education of young Palestinians.
