Avoid the early evening rush hour and relax with an hour of live music from up-and-coming performers here at the Stoller Hall.
These hour-long concerts are a chance to catch artists from our Emerging Artists Scheme, which has been generously supported by the Howarth Trust.
Sagnick Mukherjee is a musician from Kolkata currently based in Glasgow who works across India and the U.K. in a range of traditional and unconventional settings. Sagnick performs with orchestras and chamber ensembles across the UK, works as a concert presenter and facilitator, and creates new music as a composer-arranger and improviser. His recital ‘dui – a study in pairs’ invites listeners into the blurry boundaries between genres, histories, and identities, opening a dialogue across differences. By pairing music that seems worlds apart, this performance searches for resonances that transcend time and place, creating space to reflect on how contradictions can coexist — and even converge.
