Debussy’s complete works for piano, performed in his centenary year by Chetham’s pianists aged 8-18 and introduced by Roy Howat. Join the keyboard department for all or part of five one-hour concerts throughout the day, and enjoy the technical skill of these exceptional young players as they explore the full diversity of Debussy’s music.
Host Roy Howat is recognised as one of the world’s leading authorities on Debussy and his music. He has produced complete editions of Debussy’s piano works, published by Durand, and has travelled worldwide as a broadcaster and lecturer.
Concerts will begin at 12pm, 2.30pm, 4pm, 5.30pm and 7pm, each lasting approximately one hour. Your ticket is valid for the entire day. A full schedule will be published online closer to the date of the concert.
