Yidong Lin is a young pianist from Canton, China, and currently a PhD student in Musicology at the University of Manchester. He won the first prize of individual music all-round award from the Ministry of Education of China in 2018 and graduated with First Class honours from the University of Melbourne in 2021 to further his development as a wonderful musician. He has participated in nearly 150 concerts, and this is his eighth solo concert.
The theme of this concert is Japanese anime music (Season 2), including classic anime from the past 20 years, such as Evangelion (EVA), Your Name, Love Live!, Your Lie in April, AIR, Guilty Crown, Naruto, Fate/Stay Night, SAO and so on. The concert will be equipped with a projection screen, allowing the audience to relive these classic animations while enjoying the music.
