‘A vibrant celebration of music’s power’ – BBC Music Magazine

We only see true beauty as it slips away.

An evening with Manchester’s professional chamber choir, Kantos.

The natural world can be majestic, awe-inspiring, incomprehensible, and ever more frequently, terrifying. As our climate changes and we recognise the immensity of what is at stake, art can be a call to arms, a catalyst that riles us up, spurs us on, and guides us to the eye of the storm.

The music and soundscapes in this programme immerse the audience in a tale of nature’s beauty, of its hideous destruction, and ultimately, of defiance in the face of it all.
