We invite you to immerse yourself in a powerful and moving experience for your eyes and ears.

Hearing Voices explores the work and memory of those before us, told dramatically by three powerful voices. Manchester Camerata – Kantos Chamber Choir and Karen Cargill.

From Purcell to Part, with Britten’s Phaedra as a centrepiece, the evening will tell the story of obsession, forbidden love and death.

Scottish mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill is one of the most renowned singers of her generation. Winner of the 2002 Kathleen Ferrier Award, Karen has gone on to be nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Operatic Recording as part of the Metropolitan Opera’s recording of Dialogues des Carmélites.

Do not miss hearing these voices.
