Join musicians from the Chetham’s orchestra and be inspired by music, discovering some amazing inventions along the way. The last 50 years have seen so many amazing new things – mobile phones, laptops, new vaccines – but there might be a few things which take you by surprise, too! Come along and see Professor Lightbulb as he meets the orchestra and they explore some amazing inventions together.


Ticketing information

We’re working to develop our family programme to make it relevant and accessible to all our audiences. This is a pay what you decide event and your donation will help support our future family events. Tickets will need to be booked for children only and accompanying adults. Children under the age of 2 can go for free, but will till require a ticket. You can learn more about our family friendly facilities here.
