Chetham’s Library shares a site with Chetham’s School of Music. Our school partners are working tirelessly to create Covid-Safe conditions to enable teaching to return, which currently involves limiting the number of visitors to the Chetham’s site. As a result, the library will remain closed to visitors in the short term, as a precautionary measure. The situation is under constant review. We look forward to welcoming visitors back to the library again as soon as we can.
Library staff are still working from home; please use the email addresses under ‘Contact Us’ to get in touch.
Please visit our blog, new From Home pages and social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) for regular highlights from our collection; we will endeavour to keep posting things of interest!
